About

Many Canadians are leaving the church because their questions go unanswered. They have doubts about science, suffering, or other worldviews, and they don’t know where to find honest answers. At the same time, skeptics who want to look into Christianity struggle to find resources that don’t talk down to them.

We started Apologetica to help. We believe Christianity is true and that its claims can withstand tough scrutiny. We don’t avoid the hard topics. Instead, we take solid academic research and write about it in plain English. Our goal is to make these arguments accessible to everyone, whether you have been a Christian your whole life or you are just trying to figure out what you believe.

We write about atheist objections, science, church history, and how Christianity compares to other worldviews. If a question is worth asking, it deserves a real, honest answer.

About Our Founder

Jerry Hudson started studying apologetics because he had his own questions. Over the years, he studied under teachers like Dr. Sean McDowell and Dr. Ronald Nash. He holds a Certificate in Basic Apologetics from the C.S. Lewis Institute and is currently studying Systematic Theology under Dr. Bruce Ware.

Jerry writes about theology, science, and common objections to the Christian faith. He isn’t interested in winning arguments. He wants to give Christians the confidence to defend what they believe and to give skeptics an honest look at the evidence. He started this site to bring reliable apologetics resources to everyday Canadians.

Our Mission

Apologetica brings academically grounded apologetics to everyday readers, equipping Christians to defend their faith and giving honest skeptics the tools to investigate Christianity’s truth claims across doctrine, science, and competing worldviews.

Our Vision

Our vision at Apologetica is to be the trusted bridge between academic apologetics and everyday Canadians, building a country where faith is held with confidence and Christianity’s truth claims are taken seriously by believers and skeptics alike.
